Unkissed Kisses Ongoing An exhibit in Love Library highlights the historical moments of LGBTQ+ literature, writers, and their roles in the history of the University of Nebraska–Lincoln. The exhibit is open for the remainder of the spring semester and can be viewed in two locations within Love Library: in the lobby of the second floor and in display classes on the lower level of Love South. ___________________ CookWell Class: Dine with Your Valentine 5:30 to 7 p.m. | February 10 Rec & Wellness Center‘s Wellness Kitchen Bring a friend or SO to the Wellness Kitchen and learn all about loving your heart with heart-healthy foods. Recipes include tuna melt; baked sweet potato chips; and chocolate-covered fruit. Registration closes on Feb. 7. ___________________ Ace/Aro Affinity Hour 5 to 6 p.m. | February 9 Nebraska Union, Room 234 Sponsored by Spectrum UNL and the LGBTQA+ Center, Ace/Aro affinity hour is a designated space for the asexual and aromantic community on campus to gather around similar or shared experiences. Organizers respectfully ask that only those who identify as asexual and/or aromantic attend. ___________________ Music BINGO 7 to 8 p.m. | February 10 Nebraska Union, Ballroom Join CARE for a night of Music BINGO. The game will break down the sometimes problematic lyrics of popular songs in this fun, but eye-opening event for Stalking Awareness Month. ___________________ Partner Yoga 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. | February 11 Campus Rec Center, Fitness Room This is a great way to learn 2-person stretches and flow all while having fun with a friend or partner. All supplies are provided. ___________________ Sweet Dreams: A Throwback Sleepover Party 7 to 9 p.m. | February 11 Nebraska East Union A slumber party event for UNL students. Wear your pajamas and bring blankets and friends to a night full of fun activities, crafts, a screening of the film “Monsters, Inc.”, and a Valentine’s Day treat, too. Arrive early. Limited space on a first-come, first-served basis. Free for UNL students only with Event Pass. ___________________ It's Mint to Be 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. | February 14 Nebraska Union, 3rd Floor Grow your own mint this spring with a FREE mint-planting kit, provided by the Women’s Center and LGBTQA+ Center. This is a grab-and-go event. ___________________ Valentine's Pick Me Up Monday 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. | February 14 Jackie Gaughan Multicultural Center, Room 302 Drop by the Kawasaki Reading Room for a special helping of tea, chocolate, and self-care. ___________________ Valentine’s Day Succulent Sale 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. | February 14 Two locations: Willa Cather Dining Center and Nebraska East Union UNL Horticulture Club is selling a variety of small succulent plants for $5 each. ___________________
